I want you to understand right at the beginning that complete mind control isn't very probable. However, if you can somehow get a person to agree with you on controlling their mind AND if you don't violate their core values, it is possible to do pretty much everything.
It is much easier to get people to follow your suggestions than you think. For example, if you were to read the title of this post again -- right now, you'd notice that you've just followed my suggestion. I did it with a couple of words on your screen. Imagine how powerful this is in a real-life conversation where you can use all of the techniques of covert hypnosis:
- body language
- voice tone
- language patterns
- gestures
- subliminal commands
- suggestive inclinations
- much much more
When you talk to a person or a group, you can covertly draw them in and induce a trance-like state in them. In such a state a person will obey your commands if, and it's a huge IF, you manage to slide them in at just the right time and with just the right techniques.
Covert hypnosis isn't something new. It's been out there since the beginning of language. But only in the recent years have we been able to start to understand what it is and how it works. Although there are still many questions, the following things are established:
- covert hypnosis works
- it is possible to some degree to control the minds of others
- in order to do so, the suggestions must NOT be in conflict with person's core values
- it is possible to change the core values of someone, but it's a very hard and long lasting, slow process
Conclusion: When a person knows how to utilize the techniques of covert hypnosis, he or she can control other persons feelings, emotions and thoughts. In a sense it is a form of mind control. After learning certain simple, but elusive and until recently very tightly guarded secrets, a person can easily become much more persuasive and is able to get what he or she wants whenever he or she wants it.
